About the Beauty Behind the Madness

''Secure your wig! Secure your wig!'' Uju screamed! This might just be the intro for my biography! But let's not talk about that today, let's talk about depression and anxiety. I like to shy away from the topic because it opens fresh wounds, but today I will touch on it just a bit. We will start with Depression for dummies, what to say and what not to a person battling with depression. What not to a person battling with depression.  1. If you are suicidal just kill yourself!  2. Snap out of it, it's not that deep. 3. You are using it as an excuse 4. I see no reason why you should be depressed. 5. Can't you just  be happy? All the things listed above have been said to me, because I speak a lot about Mental health and Depression. So don't say I'm dramatic. Things to say: I'm here if you need anything! What would you like to talk about? If you can't talk to someone without  making them feel like they put themselv

About The Book That Changed My Life.

If I had to do a book about my life what moments will make it? Will it be everything I can remember or those special moments, like when I quit my job and the first time I almost died? I thought as I rode on a bike in a city I had never been. I was scared, about how temporary people are. I took a trip to see my friend who needed us more than ever. My favorite kind of people are interesting ones with a lot of stories and experiences to share, that’s probably why I love autobiographies so much. I knew reading a book a month will strengthen my mind and change my life some how, didn't know it will happen so soon. As my book for the Month of March I selected 'We're Going To Need More Wine by Gabby Union' and it changed my life. There are two things I’ll start doing more after reading “We're going to need more wine” 1.  Be more involved in Mentor-ship programs. To start teaching younger women the things I know; career wise, prep them for their own career.

It’s a blog post about light and blinds and how I’m still in bed at past 8.

For the first time in a long time, I slept at 9pm and woke up at 7am. This life is really sweet when you house is 20mins away from the office. Wait! My house is still far from the office, but today I’m working from Ogba. Strolling out of the house at 9am for my 10 o’clock meeting. I’m happy and this small moment of Happiness I’m holding on to it. I have finally decided to join a gym, and I already feel great about the decision. That’s all I could write before going to steal jeans from my sisters room. Bye. Currently reading: Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson.

Hello March!

After a long break, I decided to write something about trials and error. The last few weeks have been very challenging and I'm coming out on top. It's really gotten me excited about becoming more financially stable and finding something to invest my money in. Something I never thought I'll do was to start my business and I won't be offering a service. This March is the month of new things starting in my life and I'm super excited about it. I'll be launching my own online store where you can get lovely tops and dresses. I launch this week and it's very affordable and decent. Kindly show some love and support by following my page on Instagram. _The2kshop_ Thank you for the support so far, I promise to write more when my campaign is over.
